*especially for det, keanguan, darray and takyee and vini hopefully*

to squint at sunshine at 7 in the morn is a miracle

to walk with the many footsteps when dreams are luring you with their claws, it is unimaginable

but i suppose to familiar spring in my wan tan mee is rewarding enough

just like the zest in my kakak ping

and i am back home in my gloom of a rabbit hole i call home

the town is raining, the lake is filled, the swans are gliding and the air is sweet! more the reason to come to taiping all you city folks!

no jam, no hassle. you can have a yamcha session at 9 and still leave your house at 8.45. no worries. you proly reach just in time (=

so what other bait will i lay out to lure people to my sleepy hometown to cure my insensitive boredom? food works. like, all the time? *grins*

if there is a yut kee in kl selling hainanese porkchop and roti babi, there is a yut sun in taiping selling hainanese chicken chop and roti sayur. i am not kidding! the chocolate tart and strawberry pastry are the sins that pile up the kilograms round here. {= *take note sher and yee*

next next is my fav wan tan mee stall in prima. the most expensive wan tan mee around (rm2.60) though my mom and few others argued the one above the market is the best. well, personal preference will be my defense.

of course, what is life without the essence of pork innit? you know kean guan, the pork porridge ere comes with a lot lot more side dish? *grins* and the store beside beside sells yummylicious chee cheong fun in the morning? yes darray, its like the chee cheong fun you had in segamat.

*its fun tempting friends and knowing they will go "damn you hui mei, D-A-M-N!" *

hurmms.. i suppose peace hotel and peng aun's duck rice are almost the same-o same-o. then pokok assam's nasi lemak and assam laksa. *puts on list for tomorrow's breakfast*

what elses is there in taiping? oh yeah! the cendol. considering im not a fan of cendol 'cept for socializing purposes, i shall say the one opp St george is ze best, as voted by most of me mates. and now that we're in that area, i suppose it wont harm to mention 'kam pin' me like the curry mee and 'tan cha' there! though its a long way from penang curry mee still *grins*

then there's the famous popiah, not-too-bad char koay teow, and a good selection and ice mountain in central market. many many more. i realized this blog lacks picture.

guess what? i just have a new mission. tomorrow, im gonna wake real early for a morning walk in lake gardens. after that, im gonna go round taking pictures of the places i mentioned. lepas tu, i'll see you fellas on monday k?

-here's some antacids while waiting-
love you fellas too!

i love them pretty lights...

For one more day,
I'll wait for that one more ride
Down the tree lined autobahn
When I can once more make the mist.

For one more day,
And for many more days to come,
I can hear them singing a story
Written on it a life.

The sun has set,
The radio is humming,
I can hear a tune and a laughter
I can hear the chimes of many bells,
And yes,
I have waited for that one more day.

"We're never so vulnerable when we trust someone; but paradoxically, if we cannot trust, neither can we find love or joy."

Walter Anderson

The world and its many enigmas. Aren't our society a quaint one? How hard is it to trust? Very, actually, considering I myself am guilty for that social flaw. Or is it a flaw? Being a being who is unable to trust wit that snap of a finger and wisp of a smile?

Many learn their lessons on skepticism through the hard ways. Some got off easy. The rest? Perhaps they think its just cool to mutter "I don't trust easily" with that brooded look and hair sashaying in their face. But yes, survival requires us to breed some distrust and the ability to cast doubt once in a while; considering the world today is filled with bad bad people.

(bad is such a teensy weeny understatement. honest)

"But my daddy told me not to say something to strangers!"

Nonetheless, I might have a theory or two about such people who are shadowed by their own distrust. Mebbe....
  1. ... some Sakai once lied to them as a child, saying it rain chocolate syrup every Friday.
  2. ... some Mommies let them watch "It" too many a times that they believe the world is a scary place
  3. or mebbe, some of them just never experienced trust.
(stop looking at me. I am theorizing, not relating my own story into this virtual page for public viewing kays? ishk! )

Henceforth, to be someone who stinge on trust issues, is actually quite a burdenful job. As quoted, we miss out a lot of things just to protect the comfort zone in which we stood steadfastly. To risk and to venture is not out of question, it's just uncomfortable for many. (=

the sun's shining, albeit too brightly
the radio's playing lucky, almost too frequently
the mcflurry's melting on my lips, and yet im hot
and owh the symphony of the road, everlasting memories.

it's beautiful day,
when you see the moon set and the sun rise.

and so according to Darwin, we descended from the lineage of apes. and of such primal nature, we retain the animal within us. hence aggression.

aggression: excessive violence, therefore causing hurt or mebbe fatality in severe use of it.

thus, the age of lobotomy begun in the 1930's and into the 1950's. in those days. patient's consent was unheard of and the paternalistic medicine was the mainstream practice. lobotomy was widely used to treat schizophrenic or depressed souls or even people who were considered a nuisance by demonstrating behavior characterized as, for example, "moodiness" or "youthful defiance".

i.e. if you're annoying some doctors by giving him the glare or you ordered the last slice of cake, you are at the risk of being lobotomized (heh. just exaggerating there my dears, though i pretty sure i would be the first to be under the mallet)

why mallet you may ask? its because the crude primeval methods of lobotomy involves the insertion of an 'ice-pick' through your eye socket and is manoeuvred to your frontal lobe, which very much is the centre in forming your personality. oh. my bad, they actually struck the ice-pick with a mallet UNTIL the correct position is found.

*i have no idea how do they determined when the 'right' position is found* its not as if you're tofu-brain goes 'click' when you hit the right spot now does it?

so anyway, some neurosurgeons decided such a method is too messy and un-cool. therefore they devised another way of getting to your prefrontal lobe. so this particular guy is an Antonio Egas Moniz. and this is the way he gets to your head:

  1. drill holes into brain - not hole ( ) but hole (S)
  2. then he injects alcohol into your brain - no, not to give you the high but to destroy your brain cells. *the truth behind the saying that alcohol kill brain cells. damnit*
but even so, Moniz thinks this technique needs perfection. so another method was created. the difference in this new method is that he uses a more canggih surgical instrument this time round - a retractable looped wire used to *hurmms, how should i put it* mush your brain cells?

and this bugger got a bloody Nobel prize for medicine in 1949! i wonder what are they advocating sometimes. tsk.

But to begin with, why are we supressing the expression of anger? Isn't it incorporated in the human right that we can freely express emotion? Though i would agree that some homosapiens are incapable of 'normal' expression. And hence, grouped into the 2 extremes. Again, have we forgotten the variation in evolution? Unless the human race is born out of cloning, we are all different. You and me. She and he. It and it.

Who gave who the authority to dictate, "No sir, you can't go beyond this level of aggression or we have to subject you lobotomy"?

Anger is another emotion. Like passion. Like feist. Like sadism. Like angst. And that is the beauty of aggression. It's all in the fiery outburst and pulsatile throbbing heat of unrestrained outburst.

Why am I pondering on the long forgotten past which have already received enough critisism and banned from the face of the earth? *hmmm*

Don't know (=

I just wanna say how much I miss condo! And how much I misses our time together, lazing at the balcony going nuts with a bottle and a camera in hand. I love you crazy woman, from the very first day in transition you nutter roomie! *mwahh*

geez... where is our repertoire?

ZOMG! this one is so obscenely hillarious!
*its up for laughter purposes only*

and to how many times we cheered the night away
the night never seems to end with you innit
(=

moonlight sunlight
the darkening horizon is catching up
starlight starbright
which is you which is me?

equations. i had always hated them. why else do you think i ended up in mad med school? i remember trigonometry. i remember trying my very very best to derive or conclude the equation
*somehow, snatching jol's book and xerox-ing them seems less a hassle* (=

my question today:

"how much imbalance/inequality can an equation suffer before deemed as not fit to be applied?"

Musing 1: How long?

if an equation is being fed on one side alone, without being balance.. how long can that equation be sustained before the differences becomes so vast that it had to be split into two to be resolved?

Musing 2: So how?

how? how how? do i subtract from the added side? or do i add to the deprived side? or should i just take the eraser and rubbed that whole thing away? *hmmms*

At the end of the day, im still stuck with this thingy wingy. i hate maths )=

will you fall if i have miscalculated?
